By Faith I Believe (a poem)

Sep. 03, 2026 / < 1 minute / Hannah Grace

Your path led through the sea, your way through the mighty waters, though your footprints were not seen.

โ€” Psalm 77:19 (NIV)

Lord, help me to trust that You are working,
Even when I cannot see
The way Your hand weaves through the darkness,
Lighting up a path for me.

I want to believe what You are doing,
Walk this road that You have planned.
The promise of Your love means knowing
You will hold on to my hand.

Fierce though the foes may be that oppose me,
None can cause my heart to fear.
You are the one who goes before me.
They will fall, for You are near.

No matter the struggle that surrounds me,
Still I stand and lift my head,
For Your presence is all around me.
I will trust what You have said.

There is a light stronger than the darkness,
Love that causes fear to cease.
When I believe that You are working,
Faith turns chaos into peace.
